DUTIES:

  • Data analysis and reporting
  • Creative solving of optimization problems
  • Developing predictive models for various operations and technical functions
  • Crafting machine learning based tools and processes within the company
  • Discovering the information hidden in our vast amounts of data and analytics
  • Performing data mining and statistical analyses
  • Reporting to senior leadership on trends, predictions, and forecasts

SOME SKILLS THAT WILL MAKE YOUR JOB EASIER:

  • 3+ years of commercial/academic experience in solving optimization problems
  • Commercial experience of implementing models in production 
  • Experience with predictive modeling and being able to incorporate defined scope criteria into existing models 
  • Experience working with both structured and unstructured data sets
  • MSc or PhD preferably in Operations Research, Machine Learning or related quantitative field
  • Creativity and capability to work with our senior leadership to structure a project from idea to experimentation to prototype to implementation
  • Strong skills to communicate with business departments to analyse processes and gather constraints for optimisation problems
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (object oriented and/or functional)

DUTIES:

  • Document control and database management
  • Proofread technical documentation for the Technical Writing and Product Management departments
  • Leads a small team of on-site quality engineers, providing technical mentorship as needed.
  • Report defects and maintain bug database
  • Create and maintain testing tools for new and existing products (find ways to automate testing whenever possible)
  • Create and maintain Test Plans for new and existing products, ensuring functional coverage and application performance

 

SOME SKILLS THAT WILL MAKE YOUR JOB EASIER:

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, detail-oriented, hands-on professional with a proven track record for meeting goals and objectives, and achieving quality and productivity guidelines. He or she will be a quick learner with the ability to complete projects and assignments with limited instruction or supervision, and possess the following:

  • Software Quality Assurance degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience
  • Broad understanding of quality engineering principles and test methodologies
  • Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in software development quality

  • Working knowledge of document and revision control methodologies
